As copywriters go, you might find me a bit different.

For 15 years I’ve earned my keep working for global brands and advertising agencies as a copywriter and associate creative director. Global integrated ad campaigns, videos, TV,  all things social, E-Crm campaigns, sales aids, brochures, apps, site builds and re-dos,  banners, product naming, packaging, print and broadcast—I’ve done it all.

But somehow along the way, I also became a Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting grantee and my human rights related journalism and documentary work has been featured on PBS and NPR. I have an MFA in poetry and I'm a Leica Women’s Foto Project Awardee for my Super Power of Me Project, which is a platform that empowers youth around the globe. It combines my love of words with my love of photography, and has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post and ABC News. I was the keynote speaker for the opening ceremony of the International Xposure Photography Festival in The United Arab Emirates in 2023 where I presented The Super Power of Me to a global audience. My photography has been exhibited in both museums and galleries, including Fotografiska, The Museum for the City of New York, The International Photography Center (ICP), and Leica Galleries throughout the country.

All this matters because it all contributes to my work as a storyteller, both literally and visually. Today brands understand the power and magic of true story. I pride myself on creating authentic work that's lyrical and meaningful; compelling to see—and to share.
